Article 2 – Definitions

In these general terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

  1. Entrepreneur: Betrahan, the legal entity selling glasses through the webshop.

  2. Consumer: the natural person who is not acting in the exercise of a profession or business.

  3. Agreement: any agreement concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer via the webshop.

  4. Products: glasses and related glass products offered via the webshop.

Article 3 – Applicability

  1. These general terms and conditions apply to every offer from Betrahan and to every agreement concluded via the webshop.

  2. Deviations from these conditions are only valid if agreed upon in writing.

  3. The general terms and conditions will be made available to the consumer before the agreement is concluded.

Article 4 – The offer

  1. The offer contains a clear and complete description of the products.

  2. Images are for illustration purposes; minor deviations may occur.

  3. Obvious errors or mistakes in the offer do not bind Betrahan.

Article 5 – Conclusion of the agreement

  1. The agreement is concluded when the consumer places an order and the payment has been successfully completed.

  2. After placing the order, the consumer will receive a confirmation by email.

Article 6 – Prices and payment

  1. All prices are stated in euros and include VAT, unless otherwise indicated.

  2. Any shipping costs will be clearly stated before completing the order.

  3. Payment must be made via the payment methods offered on the webshop.

Article 7 – Delivery

  1. Orders placed on working days before 5:00 PM will be delivered the next day, unless otherwise stated.

  2. Orders placed after 5:00 PM or on weekends will be processed on the next working day.

  3. Delivery takes place at the address specified by the consumer.

  4. The risk of damage or loss of the products lies with Betrahan until the moment of delivery to the consumer.

Article 8 – Returns and right of withdrawal

  1. The consumer has the right to dissolve the agreement within 30 days of receipt without giving any reason.

  2. The consumer must handle the products and packaging with care.

  3. The product must be returned unused, undamaged and – if reasonably possible – in its original packaging.

  4. The costs for return shipment are for the account of the consumer, unless otherwise indicated.

  5. After receipt of the return, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days.

Article 9 – Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is excluded for products that:

  • are specially manufactured to size or according to the consumer's specifications;

  • cannot be returned for hygienic or safety reasons and whose seal has been broken.

Article 10 – Warranty and conformity

  1. Betrahan guarantees that the products comply with the agreement and with legal requirements.

  2. Any defects must be reported within a reasonable period after discovery via info@betrahan.com.

Article 11 – Liability

  1. Betrahan is not liable for damage resulting from incorrect or improper use of the products.

  2. Liability is limited to the amount of the order, unless there is intent or gross negligence.

Article 12 – Complaints procedure

  1. Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted fully and clearly via info@betrahan.com.

  2. Betrahan will respond to the complaint within 14 days of receipt.

Article 13 – Applicable law and disputes

  1. Dutch law applies to all agreements.

  2. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
